⌐◨-◨ Summary

We propose the development of nounscast.xyz, a mobile-first Farcaster client tailored to enhance the Nouns community experience. Building on our expertise with our existing open-source Farcaster client and channel-focused DegenCast, we will deliver a cross-platform React Native application that addresses core concerns within the Nouns + Farcaster landscape: ephemerality, noise, and a lack of deep Nouns-specific integrations. nounscast.xyz will transform Nouns discourse on Farcaster with Reddit-style threaded discussions, advanced content filtering, and seamless on-chain integrations.

Problem

The Nouns community thrives on Farcaster. However, several factors limit the platform's full potential as the Nouns social hub:

• Simply not nounish ⌐◨-◨ : eg. Active Badge on Warpcast and Active nouner
• Ephemerality: Valuable conversations and insights are lost within the chronological feed structure.
• Noise: Important Nouns content can be drowned out in a general-purpose environment.
• Missed Connections: The Farcaster experience lacks tight integration with Nouns-specific governance, activity, and collectible elements.

Solution

nounscast.xyz will address these challenges through:

• Threaded Discussions: Reddit-inspired structures will enable focused, persistent conversations around specific Nouns, proposals, and broader topics.
• "Nounishness" Filtering: Prioritize content from active community members (Nouners, delegates, builders, etc.) to increase signal-to-noise and also focus on /nouns channel
